Education Code § 21.909","heading":"PROGRAM STANDARDS AND PERFORMANCE GOALS.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall adopt rules establishing:\n(1) standards for partnership programs established under this subchapter, including eligibility criteria for educator preparation programs and institutions of higher education to participate in the partnership programs; and\n(2) performance goals for partnership programs established under this subchapter.\n(b) The commissioner shall periodically review the performance of each partnership program established under this subchapter to ensure the program meets the standards and performance goals established under Subsection (a).\n(c) If, in reviewing a partnership program under Subsection (b), the commissioner determines that the program has failed to meet a performance goal established under Subsection (a), the commissioner shall prohibit the entity that failed to meet the performance goal from participating in a partnership program under this subchapter for a period not to exceed five years.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1065 (H.B. 2), Sec. 2.17, eff.
