Education Code § 26.0071","heading":"PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT POLICY.","body":"Each board of trustees of a school district shall develop a parental engagement policy that:\n(1) provides for an Internet portal through which parents of students enrolled in the district may submit comments to campus or district administrators and the board;\n(2) requires the board to prioritize public comments by presenting those comments at the beginning of each board meeting; and\n(3) requires board meetings to be held outside of typical work hours.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1125 (S.B. 12), Sec. 15, eff.
