Education Code § 28.055","heading":"USE OF SCHOOL AWARDS; APPLICATION.","body":"(a) A school shall give priority to academic enhancement purposes in using an award received under the program. The award may not be used for any purpose related to athletics.\n(b) To obtain an award under the program, a school must submit to the board a written application in a form, manner, and time prescribed by the commissioner.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff.
