Education Code § 30.086","heading":"POWERS AND DUTIES OF AGENCY.","body":"(a) The agency shall contract with any qualified organization or individual for diagnostic, evaluative, or instructional services or any other services relating to the education of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, including transportation or maintenance services.\n(b) The agency shall employ educational and other personnel, may purchase or lease property, may accept gifts or grants of property or services from any source, including an independent school district or institution of higher education in this state, to establish and operate regional day school programs for the deaf.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff.
