Education Code § 38.009","heading":"ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS.","body":"(a) A school administrator, nurse, or teacher is entitled to access to a student's medical records maintained by the school district for reasons determined by district policy.\n(b) A school administrator, nurse, or teacher who views medical records under this section shall maintain the confidentiality of those medical records.\n(c) This section does not authorize a school administrator, nurse, or teacher to require a student to be tested to determine the student's medical condition or status.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff.
