Education Code § 39.0541","heading":"ADOPTION OF INDICATORS AND STANDARDS.","body":"(a) Subject to Subsection (b), the commissioner may adopt indicators and standards under this subchapter at any time before issuing the evaluation of a school district or campus.\n(b) If the commissioner does not initially adopt performance standards by the July 15 immediately preceding a school year, district and campus performance ratings for that school year shall be based on the performance standards in effect for the preceding school year.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 807 (H.B. 22), Sec. 13, eff.
