Education Code § 43.056","heading":"SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY.","body":"(a) The corporation, the board of directors, and the officers and employees of the corporation are entitled to sovereign immunity to the same extent as any other state agency or officer or employee of a state agency.\n(b) No action taken by the corporation, including the acceptance of benefits under a contract, may be construed to waive the corporation's sovereign immunity, including immunity from suit or from liability.\n(c) Subchapter C, Chapter 2260, Government Code, does not apply to the corporation.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 875 (S.B. 1232), Sec. 1.06, eff.
