Education Code § 44.0041","heading":"PUBLICATION OF SUMMARY OF PROPOSED BUDGET.","body":"(a) Concurrently with the publication of notice of the budget under Section 44.004, a school district shall post a summary of the proposed budget:\n(1) on the school district's Internet website; or\n(2) if the district has no Internet website, in the district's central administrative office.\n(b) The budget summary must include:\n(1) information relating to per student and aggregate spending on:\n(A) instruction;\n(B) instructional support;\n(C) central administration;\n(D) district operations;\n(E) debt service; and\n(F) any other category designated by the commissioner; and\n(2) a comparison to the previous year's actual spending.\nAdded by Acts 2006, 79th Leg., 3rd C.S., Ch. 5 (H.B. 1), Sec. 2.06, eff.
