Education Code § 45.081","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(a) \"District\" means an independent school district.\n(b) \"Board\" means the governing body of a district.\n(c) \"Real property\" means any interest in land, buildings, or fixtures permanently attached to buildings or land.\n(d) \"Bonds\" includes notes, contracts, and any other evidences of an obligation to pay a sum of money.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff.
