Education Code § 47.002","heading":"FUND ESTABLISHED.","body":"(a) The tax reduction and excellence in education fund is a special fund in the state treasury outside the general revenue fund.\n(b) The fund consists of:\n(1) money appropriated by the legislature for deposit to the credit of the fund;\n(2) gifts to the state for the purposes of the fund; and\n(3) money directed by law for deposit to the credit of the fund.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 943 (H.B. 3), Sec. 1.010, eff.
