Education Code § 51.156","heading":"MEETINGS OF THE BOARD; QUORUM; ACTION BY BOARD.","body":"(a) The board shall hold a meeting at least once each quarter and may hold meetings at other times at the call of the chairman of the board or at the request of a majority of the other directors.\n(b) A majority of the membership of the board constitutes a quorum at a meeting of the board.\n(c) Action may be taken by the board by the affirmative vote of the majority of the directors present at a meeting at which a quorum is present.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 3072, ch. 1024, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff.
