Education Code § 51.204","heading":"TRESPASS, DAMAGE, DEFACEMENT.","body":"(a) In this section, \"institution of higher education\" and \"private or independent institution of higher education\" have the meanings assigned by Section 61.003.\n(b) It is unlawful for any person to:\n(1) trespass on the grounds of an institution of higher education or of a private or independent institution of higher education; or\n(2) damage or deface any of the buildings, statues, monuments, memorials, trees, shrubs, grasses, or flowers on the grounds of an institution of higher education or of a private or independent institution of higher education.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 3072, ch. 1024, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff.
