Education Code § 51.257","heading":"RETALIATION PROHIBITED.","body":"(a) A postsecondary educational institution may not discipline or otherwise discriminate against an employee who in good faith:\n(1) makes a report as required by Section 51.252; or\n(2) cooperates with an investigation, a disciplinary process, or a judicial proceeding relating to a report made by the employee as required by Section 51.252.\n(b) Subsection (a) does not apply to an employee who:\n(1) reports an incident described by Section 51.252(a) perpetrated by the employee; or\n(2) cooperates with an investigation, a disciplinary process, or a judicial proceeding relating to an allegation that the employee perpetrated an incident described by Section 51.252(a).\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 958 (S.B. 212), Sec. 1, eff.
