Education Code § 51.704","heading":"FUND.","body":"(a) The fund for the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences is created as a special fund in the state treasury.\n(b) The fund consists of:\n(1) appropriations; and\n(2) grants from industry and other sources.\n(c) For each biennium the legislature may appropriate to the fund an amount equal to the amount of donations received from private sources for the biennium, not to exceed $2 million per biennium.\n(d) The comptroller shall administer the fund until the center is located in Texas.\n(e) The comptroller may accept grants for the purpose of the fund.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 44, Sec. 1, eff.
