Education Code § 51.906","heading":"SEQUENTIAL EDUCATION PLANNING FOR NURSING EDUCATION.","body":"The governing board of each state-supported institution of higher education which provides a nursing education program shall plan and incorporate into the program standards and sequential procedures which will recognize and grant credit for actual educational and clinical experiences in the nursing field which are equivalent to regular course content. The board may require students to pass examinations demonstrating competence based on educational and clinical experiences before granting academic credit.\nAdded by Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1912, ch. 615, Sec. 1, eff.
