Education Code § 51.928","heading":"WRITTEN CONTRACTS OR AGREEMENTS BETWEEN CERTAIN INSTITUTIONS.","body":"(a) In this section, \"governing board\" and \"institution of higher education\" have the meanings assigned by Section 61.003 of this code.\n(b) A written contract or agreement for the furnishing of resources or services that is between institutions of higher education with a common governing board is not subject to the requirements of Chapter 771, Government Code, if the governing board has adopted rules providing for governing board review and approval of those contracts.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., 2nd C.S., ch. 8, Sec. 5.04, eff.
