Education Code § 51B.152","heading":"EMPLOYMENT: REQUIRED MATERIALS.","body":"(a) An institution of higher education must require a person subject to screening under Section 51B.151 to submit to the institution:\n(1) if the person is a citizen of a foreign country, a copy of the person's passport and nonimmigrant visa application most recently submitted to the United States Department of State; and\n(2) any additional information as determined by the council.\n(b) An institution of higher education may destroy or return to a person subject to screening under Section 51B.151 the copy of the person's nonimmigrant visa application submitted under Subsection (a)(1) after extracting all information relevant to the requirements of this subchapter.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1071 (H.B. 127), Sec. 2, eff.
