Education Code § 51B.251","heading":"REVIEW OF EDUCATION SOFTWARE.","body":"(a) The council, in coordination with the coordinating board, shall:\n(1) conduct a thorough review of the use of testing, tutoring, or other education software owned or controlled by a foreign adversary or a company domiciled or headquartered in a foreign adversary; and\n(2) publish a list of prohibited software on the coordinating board's Internet website.\n(b) An institution of higher education may not enter into or renew a contract to provide testing, tutoring, or other education software included on the list published under Subsection (a)(2).\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1071 (H.B. 127), Sec. 2, eff.
