Education Code § 54.6245","heading":"GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL DEGREE PLANS.","body":"(a) The board may establish one or more plans to allow a person to prepay all or part of the tuition and required fees for enrollment in a graduate or professional degree program at an institution of higher education or private or independent institution of higher education, if the board determines that:\n(1) a particular plan is feasible; and\n(2) there is sufficient demand for the plan to justify administration of the plan.\n(b) The board may limit a plan established under this section to a specified field or fields of study, to a specified level or type of degree, or to a specified number of hours or semesters, as the board considers appropriate.\n(c) The board is not required to continue offering a plan established under this section in subsequent years.\n(d) The board may modify the terms of a prepaid tuition contract otherwise required by this subchapter for a plan established under this section as the board considers necessary.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
