Education Code § 56.489","heading":"SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS.","body":"For each academic year in which a student receives one or more scholarships under the program, the student must:\n(1) complete for that year:\n(A) at least 75 percent of all credit hours attempted, as determined by the institution of higher education in which the student is enrolled; and\n(B) at least 30 credit hours or the number of credit hours needed to complete the student's degree or certificate program, whichever is less; and\n(2) maintain an overall grade point average of at least 3.25 on a four-point scale or its equivalent for all coursework attempted at any public or private institution of higher education.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1342 (S.B. 175), Sec. 5, eff.
