Education Code § 56.503","heading":"ELIGIBLE EDUCATOR PREPARATION PROGRAMS.","body":"To be eligible to participate in the scholarship program, an educator preparation program must:\n(1) be operated by an eligible institution;\n(2) provide a structured system of support to assist scholarship recipients to successfully complete the educator preparation program;\n(3) require additional hours of field-based experience for students above the minimum hours required by State Board for Educator Certification rule;\n(4) require additional hours of clinical teaching experience for students above the minimum hours required by State Board for Educator Certification rule;\n(5) provide or facilitate opportunities for scholarship recipients to participate in learning opportunities beyond the university classroom setting; and\n(6) comply with other eligibility criteria established by coordinating board rule.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 877 (H.B. 4363), Sec. 1, eff.
