Education Code § 61.060","heading":"CONTROL OF PUBLIC JUNIOR COLLEGES.","body":"The board shall exercise, under the acts of the legislature, general control of the public junior colleges of this state, on and after September 1, 1965. All authority not vested by this chapter or other laws of the state in the board is reserved and retained locally in each respective public junior college district or the governing board of each public junior college as provided in the applicable laws.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 3072, ch. 1024, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff.
