Education Code § 61.895","heading":"ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SUPPORT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.","body":"The board may enter into agreements with general academic teaching institutions or other institutions of higher education to provide students participating in the program with:\n(1) research-based support to make satisfactory academic progress and graduate on time; and\n(2) leadership development opportunities, including:\n(A) program cohort learning communities;\n(B) mentoring, research, and internship opportunities;\n(C) networking with state government, business, and civic leaders; and\n(D) statewide cohort learning institutes or seminars.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 695 (H.B. 1590), Sec. 1, eff.
