Education Code § 7.043","heading":"STATEWIDE GOAL FOR CAREER READINESS.","body":"(a) Using the data posted under Section 7.0405(a), the agency shall create a quantifiable statewide goal for public school students to achieve career readiness, including by attaining a workforce-aligned credential while in high school.\n(b) The agency shall update the goal created under Subsection (a) at least once every five years.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 918 (H.B. 120), Sec. 2, eff.
