Education Code § 7.108","heading":"PROHIBITION ON POLITICAL CONTRIBUTION OR ACTIVITY.","body":"(a) A person interested in selling bonds of any type or a person engaged in manufacturing, shipping, selling, or advertising instructional materials commits an offense if the person makes or authorizes a political contribution to or takes part in, directly or indirectly, the campaign of any person seeking election to or serving on the board.\n(b) An offense under Subsection (a) is a Class B misdemeanor.\n(c) In this section:\n(1) \"Instructional material\" has the meaning assigned by Section 31.002.\n(2) \"Political contribution\" has the meaning assigned by Section 251.001, Election Code.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 260, Sec. 1, eff.
