Education Code § 73.055","heading":"AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS; JOINT APPOINTMENTS.","body":"The board may execute and carry out with any entity or institution affiliation or coordinating agreements that are reasonably necessary or desirable for the conduct and operation of a professional school of the first class; and the board may make joint appointments in other institutions under its governance. The salary of any person who receives a joint appointment shall be apportioned to the appointing institutions on the basis of services rendered.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 3171, ch. 1024, art. 1, Sec. 1, eff.
