Election Code § 145.093","heading":"AUTHORITY WITH WHOM WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FILED.","body":"(a) A candidate must file a withdrawal request with the authority with whom applications for a place on the ballot are required to be filed.\n(b) If the authority with whom applications for a place on the ballot are required to be filed is not responsible for having the official ballot prepared for the election, on the filing of a withdrawal request, the authority shall certify the candidate's name in writing as a withdrawn candidate and promptly deliver the certification to the authority responsible for having the official ballot prepared.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
