Election Code § 16.0331","heading":"CANCELLATION ON REQUEST BY VOTER.","body":"(a) A voter desiring to cancel the voter's registration must submit to the registrar a written, signed request for the cancellation. A request may not be submitted by an agent.\n(b) The registrar shall cancel a voter's registration immediately on receipt of a request under Subsection (a).\n(c) The registrar shall retain the request on file with the voter's registration application.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 797, Sec. 19, eff.
