Election Code § 172.004","heading":"RUNOFF PRIMARY.","body":"(a) If no candidate for nomination to a particular office receives the vote required for nomination in the general primary election, a runoff primary election shall be held to determine the nomination.\n(b) The candidates in a runoff for a nomination shall be determined and a tie vote in a runoff resolved as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 2, for a runoff for an election to office.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
