Election Code § 192.002","heading":"ELIGIBILITY.","body":"(a) To be eligible to serve as a presidential elector, a person must:\n(1) be a qualified voter of this state; and\n(2) not hold the office of United States senator, United States representative, or any other federal office of profit or trust.\n(b) To be eligible to serve as a presidential elector for a political party, a person must be affiliated with the party.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
