Election Code § 20.007","heading":"PROHIBITED ACTS.","body":"An employee of a voter registration agency may not:\n(1) seek to influence an applicant's political party preference;\n(2) display any political party preference or allegiance; or\n(3) make any statement or take any action the purpose or effect of which is to:\n(A) discourage the applicant from registering to vote; or\n(B) lead the applicant to believe that a decision of whether to register has any bearing on the availability of services or benefits.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 797, Sec. 33, eff.
