Election Code § 252.0032","heading":"CONTENTS OF APPOINTMENT BY CANDIDATE.","body":"(a) In addition to the information required by Section 252.002, a campaign treasurer appointment by a candidate must include:\n(1) the candidate's telephone number; and\n(2) a statement, signed by the candidate, that the candidate is aware of the nepotism law, Chapter 573, Government Code.\n(b) A campaign treasurer appointment that is filed in a manner other than by use of an officially prescribed form is not invalid because it fails to comply with Subsection (a)(2).\nAdded by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 2, Sec. 7.15(a), eff.
