Election Code § 257.002","heading":"REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO CORPORATE OR LABOR UNION CONTRIBUTIONS.","body":"(a) A political party that accepts a contribution authorized by Section 253.104 may use the contribution only to:\n(1) defray normal overhead and administrative or operating costs incurred by the party; or\n(2) administer a primary election or convention held by the party.\n(b) A political party that accepts contributions authorized by Section 253.104 shall maintain the contributions in a separate account.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 304, Sec. 5.19, eff.
