Election Code § 274.023","heading":"TEXT OF NOTICE.","body":"(a) The secretary of state shall prepare the text of the notice of each proposed constitutional amendment in the form specified by the contract.\n(b) The secretary of state shall deliver the text to each contractor by the deadline specified in the contract.\n(c) If the contractor is a statewide association, the association shall deliver to each eligible newspaper the materials and instructions necessary for a correct and uniform publication of the notice.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
