Election Code § 32.093","heading":"AUTHORITY FIXING COMPENSATION.","body":"The compensation of election judges and clerks shall be fixed by the following authority:\n(1) for an election ordered by the governor or a county authority, the commissioners court;\n(2) for an election ordered by an authority of a political subdivision other than a county, the political subdivision's governing body; and\n(3) for a primary election, the county executive committee of the political party holding the primary.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
