Election Code § 33.033","heading":"INELIGIBILITY OF EMPLOYEE OR RELATIVE OF ELECTION OFFICER.","body":"(a) A person is ineligible to serve as a watcher at a particular location if the person is the employer of or is employed by or related within the second degree by consanguinity or affinity, as determined under Chapter 573, Government Code, to an election judge, an election clerk, an early voting clerk, or a deputy clerk serving at that location.\n(b) For purposes of this section, a person is employed by an election officer in the same circumstances that a person is employed by a candidate under Section 32.054(b).\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 211, Sec. 1, eff.
