Election Code § 4.009","heading":"INTERNET POSTING.","body":"(a) Not later than the 21st day before election day, a county that holds or provides election services for an election and maintains an Internet website shall post on its public Internet website for an election of public officials or of a governmental entity authorized by law to impose a tax administered by the county:\n(1) the date of the election;\n(2) the location of each polling place;\n(3) each candidate for an elected office on the ballot; and\n(4) each measure on the ballot.\n(b) Not later than the 21st day before election day, a city or independent school district that holds an election and maintains an Internet website shall post on the public Internet website for the city or independent school district, as applicable:\n(1) the date of the next election;\n(2) the location of each polling place;\n(3) each candidate for an elected office on the ballot; and\n(4) each measure on the ballot.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 436 (S.B. 1116), Sec. 2, eff.
