Estates Code § 113.205","heading":"PAYMENT OF TRUST ACCOUNT.","body":"(a) A trust account may be paid, on request, to any trustee.\n(b) Unless a financial institution has received written notice that a beneficiary has a vested interest not dependent on the beneficiary's surviving the trustee, payment may be made to the personal representative or heirs of a deceased trustee if proof of death is presented to the financial institution showing that the deceased trustee was the survivor of each other person named on the account as a trustee or beneficiary.\n(c) Payment may be made, on request, to a beneficiary if proof of death is presented to the financial institution showing that the beneficiary or beneficiaries survived all persons named as trustees.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 680, Sec. 1, eff.
