Estates Code § 1158.653","heading":"EXCEPTION: BEST INTEREST OF ESTATE.","body":"(a) The guardian of the estate may purchase estate property on the court's determination that the sale is in the estate's best interest.\n(b) In the case of an application filed by the guardian of the estate of a ward, the court shall appoint an attorney ad litem to represent the ward with respect to the sale.\n(c) The court may require notice for a sale made under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 823 (H.B. 2759), Sec. 1.02, eff.
