Estates Code § 1158.654","heading":"PURCHASE IN VIOLATION OF SUBCHAPTER.","body":"(a) If the guardian of the estate of a ward purchases estate property in violation of this subchapter, a person interested in the estate may file a written complaint with the court in which the guardianship proceedings are pending.\n(b) On service of citation on the guardian on a complaint filed under Subsection (a) and after hearing and proof, the court shall:\n(1) declare the sale void;\n(2) set aside the sale; and\n(3) order the reconveyance of the property to the estate.\n(c) The court shall adjudge against the guardian all costs of the sale, protest, and suit, if found necessary.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 823 (H.B. 2759), Sec. 1.02, eff.
