Estates Code § 116.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Beneficiary designation\" means the designation by an owner of a manufactured home of one or more beneficiaries of the home as provided by Section 1201.2135, Occupations Code.\n(2) \"Designated beneficiary\" means a person designated as a beneficiary of an owner's interest in a manufactured home under Section 1201.2135, Occupations Code.\n(3) \"Joint owner with right of survivorship\" or \"joint owner\" means a person who owns a manufactured home concurrently with one or more other persons with a right of survivorship. The term does not include an owner of community property with or without a right of survivorship.\n(4) \"Manufactured home\" has the meaning assigned by Section 1201.003, Occupations Code.\n(5) \"Person\" has the meaning assigned by Section 311.005, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 865 (S.B. 1940), Sec. 1, eff.
