Estates Code § 352.001","heading":"DEFINITION.","body":"In this subchapter, \"financial institution\" means an organization authorized to engage in business under state or federal laws relating to financial institutions, including:\n(1) a bank;\n(2) a trust company;\n(3) a savings bank;\n(4) a building and loan association;\n(5) a savings and loan company or association; and\n(6) a credit union.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 680 (H.B. 2502), Sec. 1, eff.
