Estates Code § 752.105","heading":"COMMODITY AND OPTION TRANSACTIONS.","body":"The language conferring authority with respect to commodity and option transactions in a statutory durable power of attorney empowers the attorney in fact or agent to:\n(1) buy, sell, exchange, assign, settle, and exercise commodity futures contracts and call and put options on stocks and stock indexes traded on a regulated options exchange; and\n(2) establish, continue, modify, or terminate option accounts with a broker.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 823 (H.B. 2759), Sec. 1.01, eff.
