Family Code § 262.403","heading":"COURT ORDER REQUIRED.","body":"(a) Subject to Subsection (b), the department must obtain a court order from a court of competent jurisdiction to compel the family of a child who is a candidate for foster care to obtain family preservation services and complete the family preservation services plan.\n(b) The department is not required to obtain a court order to provide family preservation services to a pregnant or parenting foster youth.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 269 (H.B. 3041), Sec. 2, eff.
