Family Code § 264.1925","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS.","body":"(a) To be appointed as a receiver under this subchapter, a person must be qualified by education, training, or experience to carry out the duties of the receiver under this subchapter. Notwithstanding Section 64.021, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, a receiver appointed under this subchapter may be an employee of the department.\n(b) A court must appoint a receiver selected from a list of qualified persons developed by the department and filed with the court.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 73 (S.B. 2034), Sec. 2, eff.
