Family Code § 264.202","heading":"STANDARDS AND EFFECTIVENESS.","body":"(a) The department, with assistance from national organizations with expertise in child protective services, shall define a minimal baseline of in-home and foster care services for abused or neglected children that meets the professionally recognized standards for those services. The department shall attempt to provide services at a standard not lower than the minimal baseline standard.\n(b) The department, with assistance from national organizations with expertise in child protective services, shall develop outcome measures to track and monitor the effectiveness of in-home and foster care services.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 20, Sec. 1, eff.
