Family Code § 264.8521","heading":"NOTICE TO APPLICANTS.","body":"At the time a person applies to become verified by a licensed child-placing agency to provide foster care in order to qualify for the permanency care assistance program, the department or the child-placing agency shall:\n(1) notify the applicant that a background check, including a criminal history record check, will be conducted on the individual; and\n(2) inform the applicant about criminal convictions that:\n(A) preclude an individual from becoming a verified agency foster home; and\n(B) may also be considered in evaluating the individual's application.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 318 (H.B. 2370), Sec. 1, eff.
