Family Code § 65.002","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Child\" means a person who is 12 years of age or older and younger than 19 years of age.\n(2) \"Juvenile court\" means a court designated under Section 51.04 to exercise jurisdiction over proceedings under Title 3.\n(3) \"Qualified telephone interpreter\" means a telephone service that employs licensed court interpreters, as defined by Section 157.001, Government Code.\n(4) \"Truancy court\" means a court designated under Section 65.004 to exercise jurisdiction over cases involving allegations of truant conduct.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 935 (H.B. 2398), Sec. 27, eff.
