Family Code § 65.256","heading":"APPEAL.","body":"(a) The parent or other eligible person against whom a final truancy court order has been entered under Section 65.253 may appeal as provided by law from judgments entered by a justice court in civil cases.\n(b) Rule 506, Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, applies to an appeal under this section, except an appeal bond is not required.\n(c) The pendency of an appeal initiated under this section does not abate or otherwise affect the proceedings in the truancy court involving the child.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 935 (H.B. 2398), Sec. 27, eff.
