Finance Code § 14.254","heading":"NOTICE OF REPORT ON VIOLATION AND PENALTY RECOMMENDATION.","body":"(a) Not later than the 14th day after the date on which a report is issued, the commissioner shall give written notice of the report by certified mail to the person charged with committing or causing the violation.\n(b) The notice must:\n(1) include a brief summary of the alleged violation;\n(2) include a statement of the amount of the recommended penalty; and\n(3) inform the person that the person has a right to a hearing on the occurrence of the violation, the amount of the penalty, or both.\nActs 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff.
